Bluewater Energy is proud to announce the completion of a solar installation project for Ameresco Canada at the Gravenhurst Centennial Centre.  The Centennial Centre is home to one of the best ice rinks in the Muskoka area.  In 2014, the town of Gravenhurst committed to building a new refrigeration plant for the facility, with a focus on sustainable energy.  Bluewater was thrilled to collaborate with Ameresco Canada on this endeavour and lend its expertise to the solar installation.

Construction on this project took 7 weeks and Bluewater installed a total of 884 solar modules.  Now completed,  the array will produce around 270 kWp for the building’s hockey arena, auditorium, and other facilities when operating at peak power.  This project consists of cutting edge Canadian Solar CS6X-305 panels, along with hbSolar racking in a combination of the Scirocco and Skyrack models.  The inverters were supplied by Sungrow Solar.  Bluewater is excited at the success of the project and looking forward to future municipal projects of this type!
